Multiple cars were reportedly targeted by a thief or thieves in the same area of Bloomfield Township recently, and a total of $10,000-plus in cash and other items were stolen, police said.
The Bloomfield Township Police Department said it received seven larceny from auto reports on Feb. 9 — all in the South Boulevard/Squirrel Road vicinity. All but one vehicle had been left unlocked at the time of the incident, police said.
Police remind residents to remove valuables from vehicles and keep them locked.
As detectives continue their investigation, anyone with further information on the larcenies is asked to call the Bloomfield Township Police Department at 248-433-7755.
