The case against a Southfield man accused of sex crimes, kidnapping and other felonies in Wayne County is scheduled for trial.
Raymond Anthony Jackson Jr., 33, is expected to face a jury on May 28 in 3rd District Court in Detroit, with Judge Bridget Mary Hathaway presiding. He’s charged with criminal sexual conduct in the second and fourth degrees — two counts each — assault with intent to do great bodily harm, two counts of felonious assault, kidnapping and aggravated indecent exposure.

The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office alleges Jackson sexually assaulted a 34-year-old Westland woman on May 17, 2022 and attempted a sexual assault on a 45-year-old Ohio woman three days earlier.
Jackson had a forensic evaluation last year and was found to be competent for trial.
Ahead of his trial, he’s scheduled for a review hearing in April.
