A 30-year-old Holly man who had been accused of masturbating outside a Troy fitness facility has pleaded to a lesser charge.
Initially charged with indecent exposure, Jeremiah Dwayne Wiltfong pleaded no contest to a reduced charge of disorderly person at a hearing Tuesday in 52-4 District Court. Sentencing is scheduled for April 2.

A no contest plea is not an admission of guilt but is treated as such for sentencing purposes.
According to the Troy Police Department, Wiltfong was accused of pleasuring himself while sitting in his vehicle outside Planet Fitness at 288 John R Rd. on Jan. 30. He was reportedly seen doing so as women walked by.
Officers called to the scene reportedly saw Wiltfong in his vehicle leaving the parking lot, and when they questioned him he allegedly said he had been urinating in a cup and didn’t think anyone had seen him. But witnesses reported he was masturbating, police said, and that they then moved their vehicle to a new spot in the parking lot but he followed them in his car.
For the disorderly person charge, Wiltfong faces up to 90 days in jail and a $500 fine.
