Prosecutors have dropped two of four charges against a White Lake Township man accused of having sex with a 13-year-old runaway from Waterford Township.
Dougas Marcel Corbeau, 21, pleaded guilty June 13 to two charges — third-degree criminal sexual conduct, a felony, and harboring a runaway, a misdemeanor. Dismissed were two other charges of third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
The charges against Corbeau stem from an incident in January.
The Oakland Press typically doesn’t name alleged victims of criminal sexual assault, or minors purported to be victims or perpetrators of crimes.
Corbeau spent a few days in the Oakland County Jail after he was arrested on Jan. 16. He was released after posting 10 percent of a $25,000 bond.
Corbeau is scheduled to be sentenced by Oakland County Circuit Judge Martha Anderson on Aug. 15. He faces up to 15 years in prison.
