Farmington Hills police are seeking help in identifying two people who were seen on home security video with their genitals exposed, allegedly preparing to have sex in public outside a home on Monday.
The incident was reported to police by the parent of a minor who had received an alert from the camera system about activity in his family’s driveway, and then watched the video while at school, according to Police Chief Jeff King.
King said the video shows a silver Toyota Corolla backing into the driveway, parking near the home, and then a male and female exiting the car. The couple stands behind the car’s open door, and the man and woman both lower their pants, fully exposing their genitals, King said.
They were preparing to engage in sexual activity when they were interrupted by a passing motorist, King said.
“I’m disturbed by this brazen activity,” King said. “The activity exposed a teenager to disturbing behavior and violated the sanctity of the residents’ home where they should feel safe and secure. This is a very active investigation with detectives working to develop additional information.”
