While preparing for Sunday school, members of a church in Trenton were startled by the sound of a glass door shattering.
The incident occurred at about 3:17 p.m. on Sept. 19.
According to a police report, someone threw a brick through the northeast glass door of First Baptist Church, 4049 Longmeadow Dr., while members were inside.
Two members of the church spoke to police and said they only heard the sound of the glass breaking and did not get a look at the culprit.

An officer went over to the damaged side of the building and saw glass shattered from what appeared to be a gray brick inside the church on the floor.
The owner of the building was notified. While speaking about the building, an officer recognized a juvenile who was walking through the north parking lot and stopped him to ask a few questions.
The juvenile said he did not see anyone come through the lot and didn’t see anyone throw a brick.
The boy identified himself and said he is not involved in the destruction of property.
He told officers he walks through the lot after school.
