Another survivor of the June 15 Brooklands Plaza splash pad shooting that injured nine people has left the hospital.
A 30-year-old Rochester Hills resident, whose name has not been released, is home “resting comfortably after spending more than two weeks in the hospital,” according to the sheriff’s office.
A 39-year-old Rochester Hills mother, shot multiple times while trying to protect her children, remains hospitalized. Her 8-year-old son was released on Friday.
Police identified the shooter as Michael William Nash, 42, of Shelby Township. He died by suicide after Oakland County Sheriff’s deputies surrounded the mobile home he
shared with his mother. She was not present at that time.
